"while the sun drinks up the dew"

It has been stunning out this past week. It made me want to shout "For this is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!" Does life not seem much better when we are thankful for it? This is something that I am trying to do daily even in the rain. A book that has pointed this out to me is "One thousands gifts" by Ann Voskamp. If you have not heard of it check it out and I would highly recommend reading it.
My favorite time of day is at the brink of sunrise till it fully rises. Life is quite at first everything is just starting to wake. The sun rises slowly warming the earth and creation declaring the day as arrived. I just love it!
I was feeling especially inspired the other morning to get out and shoot. I once again bundled up the kiddos, this time choosing the double stroller, threw my trusty steed (my camera) over my shoulder and bared the morning frost. Here are some of the shots I was able to capture. It would have been great if I had a macro lens but I was still happy with what I got. To see the full album click here. Oh and one last thing my blog title don’t you love it?! I got it from the classic, “Jane Eyre” What a lovely book I also would recommend reading it!
